3rd Grade ELA:

  • Read and write numbers, within 1,000 using base-ten numerals, number names, and expanded form 
  • Compare two 3-digit numbers based on the values of hundreds, tens, and ones using >, <, = 
  • Organize, represent, and interpret data using a picture graph and a bar graph 
  • Solve word problems involving money 
  • Demonstrate fluency with multiplication and division up to and including 10 
  • Represent, interpret, and solve one-step word problems involving multiplication and division 
  • Solve two-step word problems using addition, subtraction, and multiplication 
  • Measure the length of an object in standard units 
  • Tell & write time from analog and digital clocks to the nearest five minutes, am/pm 
  • Partition circles and rectangles into equal shares 
  • Find the area of a rectangle with whole-number side lengths by tiling 
  • Find the perimeter of polygons 
  • Recognize and draw triangles, quadrilaterals, pentagons, hexagons, octagons, and decagons
