The Student Council is a group of officers, classroom representatives, committees, and advisors who work together to promote school spirit, make important team decisions, and work on special events and projects for the school community. Student Council representatives are elected in September by their peers.
Student Council’s objectives center on the CIS core values: Respect, Responsibility, Solutions, and Service. Student Council activities include: peer tutoring, raising funds and awareness for service activities, assisting with school-wide events, serving as guides for Open House and international visitors, and organizing Spirit Week.
